The Algarve Cup is an international professional youth football tournament located in the South of Portugal, in the Algarve Province. The Algarve has arguably the best sportsclimate in Europe.
Our tournaments are played in multiple locations within the Algarve. The temperature, the sun, the ocean make the sporting conditions in the Algarve A+.
The first Algarve Cup U16 is won by Brondby IF. During the final against SL Benfica, penalties decidedthe winner of the first U16 tournament in Portugal.
The first Algarve Cup U17 is won by Portuguese Giants, Sporting Clube de Portugal. In the Portuguese final between Sporting and SL Benfica it was Sporting to bring home the trophy back to Lisbon.
